What's going on in the neighborhood? This Sunday, April 14th NoDa will be holding it's 2nd annual bike race, The NoDa Grand Prix.

Beneļ¬tting Trips For Kids Charlotte and Global H2O. April 14th brings a full day of free, world class, family friendly entertainment to historic North Charlotte. We invite you to experience the thrill of cycling ringside, participate in the festivities, and explore one of Charlotte’s most eclectic neighborhoods.

Races begin at 830am. There are FREE kids races at 3pm, and the Johnston Y will set out the sprinklers and a bounce castle! Espada's 3 year birthday party, All Arts Market and the unveiling of the Noda Community Garden are also happening this weekend. In addition, on the 26th Street side of the n'hood you will find Heist Brewery, Birdsong Brewing, Noda Brewing, King of Pops, and the Party Pedaler running tours and holding specials all day long.

The heart of North Charlotte, NoDa. See attached site map for detailed information on the course. We will begin set up at 730am Sunday morning. Roads will re-open at 7pm.
After seeing Dilworth and Uptown host bike racing successfully for years, we thought we could do the same while showcasing our amazing neighborhood. We want to capitalize on the same energy that Noda residents and businesses put into the Thunder Road marathon and the NodaWeenFreaky 5k - food and drink specials, bands playing, and extra seating are just a starting point!

Come on out! Enjoy your favorite bar or restaurant. Scream and cheer for your friends, enter your children in the FREE kids races. Visit the YMCA front lawn, grab a bite at a local restaurant, or head down to the breweries. We are really counting on the same neighborhood energy that won NoDa the Thunder Road spirit award 3 years running.
